some updates

Maa, I feel like I should have done this sooner, but it's been a bit hectic lately. I've had exams going at school for my kids, and then packing up the apartment. That's right, Arashi and I are moving. And we're moving in with Munehiro. And Rio, of course, cute little guy that he is. We took him to the park last week, and I got the cutest picture of him sleeping on the way back.



In other news, I'm engaged now. I couldn't believe it last night when Munehiro proposed, but I couldn't be happier. I just...can't even put into words how excited I am. I already have coworkers and students looking at me funny because I've been smiling so much, and I don't care. Best White day ever, seriously.

I still almost never get it to taste good, though. Every now and then.....but I never get it right when I try to cook the same dish again.

Yep. Every time it works, I make notes on the recipe of exactly what I did..... I dunno...because even following those, the second time doesn't turn out as well.

I'm thinking about having Mom give me some pointers... She taught me how to make the cookies, after all.

Haha, so basic! But at least that's one recipe I'm guaranteed to get right.
